Viocen SMP is a Carrier Class and Fully Redundant operations support system based on the IEC (International Engineering Consortium) FCAPS (fault management, configuration, accounting, performance, and security) that keeps track of users
and provides secure authentication, access handling, payment solutions, billing, statistics and monitoring.
Viocen Service Management Platform runs on a centralized, non-proprietary hardware at the network operation center (NOC),
and can serve a large number of sites. Monitoring and reports can be done anywhere at anytime via a web interface.
SMP offers great freedom to customize the system and monitor the operations. Extract statistics, retrieve usage data, produce reports and update the configuration of the network in a multitude of
ways. The monitoring and statistics function can be tailor-made to allow different people to access different levels of information for defined purposes.
Multi Service Provider support. The Service Management Platform features Multi Service Provider support. Your hotspot can easily provide for users with different service providers and handle roaming
and shared revenue schemes.
Flexible system for various payment methods and business models. Viocen Service Management Platform, offers different payment methods to use for every separate site. Credit cards, pre- and
post-paid. The platform includes a mediation feature and interfaces for connecting directly to the credit card companies or roaming partners such as iPass.
Customers sign up themselves. Viocen SMP allows your customers to sign up, pay and start to use the service unassisted.
